Project: Crisis Residential Accreditation Development

Project Overview

The Crisis Residential Association seeks a qualified agency or company to assist in the development of an accreditation for crisis residential programs. The accreditation will serve as a standardized framework for assessing the quality and effectiveness of crisis residential programs.

Project Scope

The project will involve the following key activities:

1. Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify existing accreditation standards and best practices in the field of crisis residential care and crisis/peer respite.
2. Volunteer Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of a committee of experts in crisis residential care to develop the accreditation standards.
3. Committee Meetings: Organize and lead monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours/month) for 8 months (March 2025 - October 2025) to develop and refine the accreditation standards.
4. Accreditation Standards Development: Compile the recommendations from the committee into a final draft of the accreditation standards, due by December 1^st, 2025.
5. Implementation Data Gathering, Interpretation, and Recommendations: In the following year, gather and analyze data related to the implementation of the accreditation standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Direct Consultation with CRA Board: Provide regular consultation with the CRA board throughout the project to ensure alignment with the association's goals and priorities and provide consultation on project implementation.
